OUR STORY
Opperman Attorneys was founded and established by Chenique Opperman in October 2021 with the vision of providing accessible, professional, and client-focused legal services.
Chenique completed her LLB degree at the North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus. She commenced her articles in 2016 at a boutique law firm specialising in criminal law and family law, where she developed a strong foundation in litigation and client representation.
After being admitted as an attorney in 2019, she continued her legal career at a firm in Centurion specialising in civil litigation. During this time, she managed extensive client portfolios and gained valuable experience in complex civil matters.
Through this experience, Chenique recognised the importance of personal legal service and founded Opperman Attorneys with the goal of building a practice where every client receives dedicated attention and professional representation.
Today, the firm continues to grow while remaining true to its founding principles: integrity, determination, and a relentless pursuit of justice.

Chenique Opperman
Founder of Opperman Attorneys, Chenique is passionate about protecting the rights of her clients and ensuring that justice is pursued with determination and professionalism.
With experience in criminal law, family law, and civil litigation, she approaches every matter strategically while maintaining a compassionate understanding of the people behind each case.
Legal Secretary
Zinell van Vuuren
Zinell joined Opperman Attorneys in 2022 as a legal secretary and plays a key role in the daily functioning of the firm. She assists with case management, client communication, and administrative coordination.
Accounts Department
Michelle Opperman
Michelle joined the firm in 2023 and oversees the accounts department, ensuring efficient financial administration and supporting the operational stability of the practice.
Reception & Administration
Adele Piercy
Joining the team in 2024, Adele manages reception and administrative support, ensuring that clients are welcomed professionally and that the office operates smoothly.
